How my little Cake Shed started 🥹

I definitely didn't expect to end up owning a Cake Shed 😂

I've always loved baking and Simple & Sweet Surrey really started as something I did because I enjoyed it.

I used to just make cakes at home and practise different things.

Then people started asking me to make cakes for them.

Then more people started asking.

And somehow it slowly became an actual little business.

Eventually I had the idea of having somewhere I could fill with bakes and people could just come down and choose what they wanted.

So the little pink Cake Shed arrived 💞

I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to go.

I remember worrying before opening that nobody would turn up and I'd be left with ridiculous amounts of cake 😂

Luckily that hasn't really been the problem.

The shed has grown so much that I'm now getting a bigger one, which feels completely mad when I think about where it started 🥹
